Your Avanto Sauna Experience

You might like to arrive at the sauna a little while before your session — in time to check in, take a breath, and put your belongings away. Bring two towels (one for sauna and one for ocean or shower), swimwear, and water bottle, and leave phones and valuables safely stored.

Avanto Sauna is a space to slow down and switch off, so please arrive fresh and clean — not sweaty from a workout. If you’ve been exercising or are warm from activity, take a quick shower nearby before entering the sauna. This helps keep the space comfortable and hygienic for everyone.

Before You Enter

Before your session, take a sip of water and make sure you’re feeling well.
If you have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, are pregnant, diabetic, epileptic, or prone to dizziness or fainting, please speak with your doctor before using the sauna.

When you’re ready, rinse off or dip your feet in the ocean to prepare your body for the heat and ease into the experience.

Inside the Sauna

Step inside quietly, bringing your towel to sit on. Find a comfortable spot and allow your body to settle. The higher benches are hotter, while the lower seats are milder — choose a level that feels comfortable for you.

Stay for up to 15-20 minutes (or less if needed) and listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, overheated, or uncomfortable, exit immediately and cool down.

You may add steam by gently pouring the provided sauna water over the rocks — never seawater. Before doing so, check with others in the sauna to make sure everyone is comfortable with more steam and heat. This keeps the experience respectful and enjoyable for everyone.

Phones, cameras, and food or alcohol are not permitted inside, so everyone can enjoy the calm.

Between Rounds

When you step out, cool off slowly. You might like to enjoy a cold plunge in the ocean or simply rest and breathe in the sea air.

Take care if swimming — the ocean can be cold, and you participate at your own risk.

After cooling down, drink water, rest, and return to the sauna if you wish.

After Your Session

Once your final round is done, take a few minutes to relax and let your body settle. Stay hydrated — drink water before, during, and after your session. Water will be available for refills.

Leave the sauna as you found it: calm, clean, and ready for the next person.
